Sharing Our Knowledge
Mary Jordan presented Advising Trust & Estate Clients on the New 3.8% Medicare Surtax on November 20, 2013 at the East Valley Estate Planning Council meeting.

Giving Back
Cati Piorkowski and her son Jack volunteered on Veteran's Day with the Trailblazers group to help serve hot dogs to the Veterans. It was a great event and honored those who have graciously served our nation.

On December 12th, Lohman Company spent the afternoon at the United Food Bank in Mesa, AZ assisting with the weekly “Help Yourself” Food Cooperative program.  Our team stocked an assembly line, checked items for quality and filled bags with pre-purchased items.  The completed bags we assembled will assist families who operate on small or fixed incomes to purchase nutritious food at low prices.

Our firm also sponsored a toy drive to support Helen's Hope Chest for Christmas.  We were able to provide a carload of toys and gifts for the children they support. Helen's Hope Chest is a program of Mesa United Way that helps foster children with their basic needs such as clothing, school supplies, books and toys.

Office Happenings
We're doing our part to stay healthy! Annual flu shots were offered to all employees and their spouses during November.

Lohman Company's annual United Way Campaign was held in November and included our traditional Lohman Company Penny War between two teams.  This year we collected over $127 from the Penny War which was donated to Mesa United Way.

On December 20th,  Lohman Company celebrated our Annual White Elephant and Potluck party with lots of great food and an exciting white elephant gift exchange. A great way to kick off the holiday!
