Since celebrating our 16-year anniversary on June 1, 2016, Lohman Company has taken time to reflect on all the events we’ve been part of since our 15-year anniversary. We invite you to join us as we continue to look back over the past year through a series of blog posts.
Firm Events
On September 23, 2015, Lohman Company held its Annual Bowling Event at The Brunswick Zone in Gilbert. The event included bowling, entertainment and several prizes. Everyone had a great time!
On October 30, 2015, several team members had family visit the office to let their children trick or treat in their costumes. The little ghosts and goblins were thrilled with the treats they received.
Lohman Company’s annual United Way Campaign was held in November and included our traditional Penny War between two teams within the office. This year we collected over $130 from the Penny War which was donated to the Mesa United Way.
On December 16, 2015, Lohman Company held its annual holiday potluck party. Besides the great food and family recipes that we shared, there was a spirited white elephant gift exchange!
The firm celebrated Cinco de Mayo 2016 with our annual BYOT (Bring Your Own Toppings) party. Lohman Company employees brought a variety of their favorite toppings to use with many different kinds of tortilla chips. We also celebrated with virgin margaritas for everyone. (It was a Thursday, after all!)
Anniversaries and Accolades
November 2016 marks the two year anniversary for 100+ Women Who Care Valley of the Sun. Lohman Company is proud to be a chapter sponsor alongside partners Mary Jordan and Cati Piorkowski, who are members of the organization.
In October 2015, the Arizona Bioindustry Association (AZBio) presented Lohman Company with a special award for celebrating its 15-year anniversary.
On November 5, 2015, Lohman Company hosted a grand celebration for its 15th anniversary. All who attended enjoyed an evening of great food, drink, live music, and conversation.
Lohman Company was awarded the Heart of Mesa award from the Mesa United Way during their annual awards luncheon on May 4, 2016. We were excited and proud to have a number of our team accept the award.
Lohman Company was nominated as a finalist for Small Business of the Year for the Mesa Chamber of Commerce 2016 Annual Leadership Awards honoring business excellence. Lohman Company attended the awards ceremony on April 29, 2016.
Other 2015-16 Lohman Company Sightings
Robin Lythoge’s sons, Jacob and Zach, made a huge impact in November 2015, earning membership in the 2016 Army All American Marching Band. Only 115 students from across the country were chosen, with only 8 from Arizona being selected. What an honor! Jacob and Zach were already standouts in the Camp Verde Band Program, but their stellar skills on and off the marching band field were important in making the cut.
On February 4, 2016, Craig Lohman, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, introduced Mayor John Giles at the State of the City Breakfast to an audience of over 500 attendees.
The firm took the afternoon off on May 18, 2016 to enjoy the fantastic Arizona outdoors along with some good food and drinks at Top Golf. We also attempted to hit some golf balls.
Lohman Company is sponsoring the new Mesa Jr. Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the year, we will work with Benedictine University’s senior leadership students and provide them with opportunities to shadow our professionals. This is an exciting new program and we are honored to be a sponsor.
