Our Leadership Team

Cati joined Lohman Company in 2001 as a manager.  Today, as the partner-in-charge of the tax department and a member of both the Executive Partner Group and the Senior Management Group, she specializes in tax compliance and planning for closely-held businesses and their owners.  Cati has industry expertise in technology, manufacturing, distribution, service, construction and real estate  and is the firm’s  specialist for work relating to S corporations and C corporations. She also deals extensively with companies that utilize R & D credits, have foreign reporting requirements, are part of controlled groups or file multi-state tax returns.

Beginning her accounting career in 1990 after graduating from Northern Arizona University, Cati worked for local, regional and national CPA firms before joining Lohman Company.  With more than 20 years of professional experience, she has guided clients through a wide range of individual and business challenges.

After taking her first accounting class, Cati knew the accounting field was where she belonged.  The challenges in analyzing transactions and applying principals, the ability to work with diverse businesses, and the opportunity to help others appealed to her nature.  Looking back, she attributes her professional success to continued learning, good listening skills and a dedication to client service.

A life-long Arizona native, Cati couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. She was raised in Willow Beach, Arizona, one of eight children, and currently resides in Phoenix with her husband and son. Away from the office, Cati enjoys hiking Arizona trails and traveling to national parks and monuments with her family.
