It's been a busy spring here at Lohman Company and we're looking forward to the summer months! Here's a little taste of what we've been up to!
Expanding our Knowledge
Jay Lohman attended Integra International's AAA conference in Baltimore, Md on May 16-18th. It was attended by professionals from 10 countries. Topics covered included the use of the web and social media, cyber security, global economy, and dynamic communication through understanding communication and behavioral styles.
Craig Lohman and Rebecca Choate virtually attended the annual AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Conference which was located in Grapevine, TX. Topics covered included updates from key staffers at the IRS and DOL as well as valuable information on 401(k) plans and ESOP's.
Giving Back
Cati Piorkowski attended Gabriel's Angels “Unleash the Love” fundraising breakfast on May 3rd to benefit abused and at-risk children. Gabriel's Angels provides healing pet therapy to children in need, nurturing their emotional development and enhancing the quality of their lives forever.
Craig Lohman attended the Annual Friends of United Food Bank breakfast on April 3rd. United Food Bank provides over 45,000 meals to hungry people in Arizona every day.
Good Times
April 19th – Lohman Company celebrated the passing of the April 15th deadline with a Picnic Lunch & Volleyball match at a local park. A great, relaxing day for all!
May 3rd – Cinco de Mayo was in full swing in our office with a BYOT (Bring Your Own Toppings) lunch with a variety of tortilla chips and lots of toppings. We also mixed up some virgin margaritas for all to enjoy.
Family Fun
On April 25th – 26th, Craig Lohman assisted with chaperoning his son's 6th grade class on a field trip to Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam and rafting down the Colorado River. Beautiful views and amazing kids!
